This versatile little gear/cog has so many potential uses! Use it as a coaster (as shown in the pictures), use it as part of a DIY art or home decor project, use it for Cosplay, buy several and make a mural to hang on your wall, etc., etc., etc.! They are fully functional, so if you buy several, the teeth will fit inside each other and can turn and function like cogs.

It is made from 10 gauge (1/8 inch thick) mild, hot-rolled steel, and it is very heavy duty. It is 3.5 inches in diameter, and the hole in the center is 1 inch in diameter.

These come WITHOUT any backing on the bottom so you can use them however you like (instead of just as coasters). If you would like to use them as drink coasters, however, please leave me a note when you place your order, and I will be happy to put some cork nubs on the bottom of them for you to convert them to coasters.Please allow 3-5 business days before items ship. Custom orders or very large orders may take longer.

Care instructions

Light switches should be oiled (I prefer to use WD40) at least once a year in order to prevent rusting.

Sizing details

My light switches with levers ONLY work with toggle switches (the kind you flick up and down with your finger). It's easy to change from a dimmer or other type of light switch to a toggle switch.

Are these safe?

Any properly installed and functioning light switch has a safety ground. There should be no dangerous voltages anywhere near a properly functioning switch. The toggle switch itself is plastic, which is also an insulator. Whenever you are working with electricity, however, it’s always a good idea to turn off the breaker and double check your wires to make sure the insulation on your wiring is intact, and that the ground is connected to the switch. If the copper wire is exposed, or if the insulation is cut, you could get a shock due to faulty wiring.

Before installing, please ensure that your current light switches are functioning properly, that your switch is grounded, and that there are no loose wire connections.
