This steel blank wall plate is useful for covering up electrical outlets that are no longer in use, while still providing access to the electrical components should the need arise.
It fits a standard single gang wall plate and is made from the same 10 gauge raw steel as my other products. It also comes with a steel spacer plate, which you fit behind it in order to ensure a tight seal against the wall.
This single blank is 4 ¾ tall by 2 ¾ wide. Please allow 3-5 business days before items ship. Custom orders or very large orders may take longer.

Light switches should be oiled (I prefer to use WD40) at least once a year in order to prevent rusting.
My light switches with levers ONLY work with toggle switches (the kind you flick up and down with your finger). It's easy to change from a dimmer or other type of light switch to a toggle switch.
Any properly installed and functioning light switch has a safety ground. There should be no dangerous voltages anywhere near a properly functioning switch. The toggle switch itself is plastic, which is also an insulator. Whenever you are working with electricity, however, it’s always a good idea to turn off the breaker and double check your wires to make sure the insulation on your wiring is intact, and that the ground is connected to the switch. If the copper wire is exposed, or if the insulation is cut, you could get a shock due to faulty wiring.
Before installing, please ensure that your current light switches are functioning properly, that your switch is grounded, and that there are no loose wire connections.

Overall this is very good. My only issue is that it came with the shorter wall plate screws (the kind that normally come with light switches) rather than the longer screws that normally come with blank plates. Still, it was well worth the money.

Quality is off the chain!!! Very heavy and secure once attached. As soon as my room is completed, I will send seller photos. A great enhancement to the soon to be renovated room.
